I agree...much better to use my new yahoo address for our new AV site
and not share my other email address at all. It's not like we'll have the
safety net we have here with Lynne monitoring and filtering out everything
questionable... My provider scans my personal email now for spam, but much comes through even though I've set my priorities to allow for the most rigid of filtering.
It's amazing how people hunt for email addresses...I look at my list of my
provider's sequestered emails daily...the ones I never open...and each and every day there are close to 50 spam emails that were sent to me..
....Many days there are 4 to 5 that might have corrupted my computer... as they contained attachments with viruses.
Just rather be safe....and thanks Verna for your input...Good advice!
I keep forgetting to ask you, how is your mom doing?
: getting mail she doesn't want or spam then the yahoo address
: might be better.
: It's new so she'll notice if unwanted mail/spam appears &
: it won't clog her everyday mail.
: Yahoo has a Spam button above the email that allows you to
: check the unopened email -push the Spam button & they
: remove it & won't send any more mail to you from that
: address. Would that be good for you Maddy?
