hen who would show up in the spring and walk in the door of the office at the lake and stare at us until we gave her some corn!
Who would have thought that ducks can smile!
One year she didn't show up and we miss her....I always wonder how far they go in the winter.
There are only a few ducks on the lake now; the swans practised with their young and left about a week ago, and the sandhill cranes left before that.
If it wasn't for the Big Ski Plans I'd be feeling a little left behind !
