I've been using greensand and bone meal when I dig up the beds the last couple years I did a veg. garden. And I didn't get as good a growth as I was used to. The soil out here is so alkaline, maybe the bonemeal is no good; and I thought I was doing it right. Used to use just chicken manure, plus whatever compost I could because that's always good for clay type soil, etc. and everything grew like weeds...... I think the greensand is good for the clay, but the bone meal must take the edge off the chicken stuff, and I bet I don't need that.
Kids are like that. They grow into the patience part, with age. Mine is getting better at 13, but still a long way to go.
You can use the little pictures, its pretty easy I think. See the red highlighted "Formatting Help" above the place where you type your message in when you're doing a post? Click on it. Another page will pop up right next to you....then just follow the little code right in front of each picture. You need to hit the space bar right before you type in the code...it can't be connected to words or the program won't figure it out. So the laughing picture is an asterisk ( shift and 8 on my keyboard) followed immediately by the word laugh...
