but he's not at home, but at his home with Meital on the kibbutz. He was here yesterday getting all of his gear together. All this stuff that he hasn't used since Oct. 2000!!
Noah managed to reduce his reserve time from 21 days to 11 days, they agreed cause he's studying. He will be missing quite a bit of school though. It is common here for students to miss out on studies because of reserve duty. Quite unfair, although the army can't run it's schedule according to college semesters.
His time is split into 6 days of exercises down in the desert, and 5 days with their unit that is now stationed next to Gaza. The first part of the service is okay, although he'll freeze during those desert nights, he still loves that stuff, and the desert is beautiful. But Gaza, that's a different story, no time there to enjoy the scenery that's for sure.
