There have been 5 reported cases of Hep A in our local schools, 2 in kindergarten (1 in each class), 1 in 6th grade and 2 in two different high school classes.
So far, they haven't been able to find a common connection.
I understand how it's spread, by fecal contamination of food or water, poor sanitary habits, etc. Other than NOT eating out
or drinking anything with ice or water from unknown origins, is there anything else to do to protect oneself?
