anyone starts worrying about the freedoms we might lose - my question is -
"How many of YOUR family members and friends are you willing to let die so you'll not lose any perceived freedoms?"
What is freedom anyway? What I consider to be important, might wary widely from what you might want.
We elect our officials to help make those decisions. They have information we aren't always privy to and I think it's OK that I NOT be told everything.
There has to be some protection for those trying to keep us safe. They need to be allowed to do whatever is necessary. I'm very glad we have our current leadership.
This country has a history of watchdogging every decision our government makes. Many of us think we know better than they do. That's OK. That's what makes us great - but, sometimes we need to ask are we complaining just because we can, or is the problem really serious?
My intent isn't to offend anyone, but, I think we have to seriously understand what we really have to lose. Each and every life is important, whatever is necessary to keep us all safe is worth whatever LOSS of freedom we might have to pay.
