: I forgot all about that. It also brings up Elena and her past
: contributions to this forum. (I have not forgotten her).
Dick, you know I posted about her recently, right? posted an update a couple of weeks ago.
: Lynne, your last verse is fine. It may not fit 5-7-5, but it
: fits the other verses, so it is fine.
phew!! *lol
: There is also another form of writing which uses haiku:
: Someone writes a haiku, in the standard 5-7-5 form.
: Another person writes a response to that first haiku, in a
: 7-7 form. That can be done again and again, as 5-7-5, 7-7,
: 5-7-5, 7-7, etc.
Do you know where I can find an example of this? Is there a name for it?
I really like webbbs (this form of forum software), but one thing I don't like about it is the archives. I would prefer that all topics remain open all the time. no matter how old.
and this would be a fun thread. start with a 5-7-5, then someone else answer with a 7-7, then someone else with a 5-7-5... etc.
well, I think it would be fun.. :P
: Also, you do not want to be too rigid about the number of
: syllables in each line. Just have fun (a pot of green tea
: helps).
