Lynne, your last verse is fine. It may not fit 5-7-5, but it fits the other verses, so it is fine.
There is also another form of writing which uses haiku: Someone writes a haiku, in the standard 5-7-5 form. Another person writes a response to that first haiku, in a 7-7 form. That can be done again and again, as 5-7-5, 7-7, 5-7-5, 7-7, etc.
Also, you do not want to be too rigid about the number of syllables in each line. Just have fun (a pot of green tea helps).
